AbstractThe author criticizes the restoration of mural paintings at Wat Chetuphonwimonmangkalaram, or widely known as Wat Pho. With its unique ""Lai Rodnam"" pattern, the 150-year-old paintings depict the lifestyle of people in early Rattanakosin period.
