AbstractThe article illustrates the ""Chunlakathin"" ceremony -a ritual observed by Thais after the Buddhist Lent. The main activity is cotton weaving. On the ceremony day, the villagers gather early in the morning to weave cotton fabric. Then, they would present the monks with the cotton fabric, which is ready for making Buddhist robe. According to the Thai belief, all the process have to be done in one day.
