TitlePattani adit anachak Lankasuka an yingyong
AuthorPanida Sanguanseriwanit
AbstractThe article features the history of Pattani, one of Thailand's four southern-most provinces. Nowadays Pattani is well-known for its unique Muslim culture, with its people speaking Malay more often than Thai which is the official language. The author reports on the archaeological and historical evidence, which supports the argument that Pattani used to be a prosperous trade center in this region.
