| Title | Prawattisat khwamlamkhen khong chaona boriwen lumnam Mun ton bon |
| Author | Chumphon Naeochampa |
| Abstract | The author illustrates the plights of northeastern farmers, who live in upper area of the Mun River during the reign of Kings Rama IV and Rama V. As commoners, they must pay tax for the noble class in order to get protection and to be able to work on farm. Also, when required, these farmers had to work for the state without being paid for their labor. Besides, they usually experienced famine and drought. The author argues that what northeastern farmers had experienced was social inequality and injustice. |
