AbstractThis article presents Mr. Pakon Chairat's biography and his works. Mr. Pakon Chairat is a national artist and a renowed master of shadow plays. He lives in Songkhla, a province located in southern Thailand. Besides excelling at shadow play performing, he is also interested in preserving the cultural heriatges and natural environments of the southern region. He established the museum of the southern folk cultures in his own house and opens it to the public.
