AbstractMichael Wright provides comments on the national campaign concerning the preservation of Thai cultural heritages. He writes that the campaign suggests how Thai elite groups have suppressed the cultural practices of Thai commoners. In addition, he proposes a more appropriate way to promote and uphold Thai cultural heritages.
