| Caption | For about 20 years, the Philadelphia Fish Market occupied Stall 10 in the Sanitary Market. It provided Seattle residents with fresh and smoked fish, oysters, clams, lobsters, and crabs. In this photo, taken on October 29, 1927, the stall is filled with Dungeness crabs, and Olympia and Rock Point oysters. In the windows are packages of cod, oblong tins of sardines, and cans of fishballs. |
