CaptionThe town of Vashon as shown in this photo includes several landmarks and identified properties. The light-colored building on the right is the Presbyterian church and manse. Moving towards the left on the same side of the street is a building that contained an auto sales and repair business, small shops and a cafe. Further to the left is a two-story brick structure known as the Weiss Building. The Eernisse Farm is located behind and to the left of the church, and the land in the foreground is the Blekkink currant fields. The clearing in right foreground is in preparation for contruction of a new theater. In the background of the picture one can see a chicken ranch and the Coast Guard tower.
