CaptionThe Aqua Follies performed at the Aqua Theatre on the south end of Green Lake. Water ballets, diving exhibitions and clown acts took place in the pool and on the stage behind. Many of the Aqua Follies mermaids were recruited in Minneapolis before June 1, and began practicing before Seattle area college students finished their school term.
