CaptionAt the time of its completion in 1914 the Smith Tower was the fourth tallest building in the world, allowing for unobstructed views. This northeasterly view shows the old King County Courthouse with its raised dome at right center atop Profanity Hill. Harborview Hospital now stands in its place.
