CaptionChin Gee Hee was a labor contractor in Seattle and owned the Quong Tuck Company. He was well connected with Seattle's business leaders and served as a spokesman for the Chinese American community.
NotesNote from Wing Luke records: In this photo he stands on a floral carpet in his Chinese Official's black satin robe with emroidered rank badge, white collar, official's beads and round black hat. Under robe shows diagonally embroidered stripes below black robe.
