CaptionWhen Seattle's Exchange Building opened in 1930 at 821 Second Avenue, it was the tallest building in the downtown business district. This image shows the view from the Exchange Building towards the east, along Marion Street. Sharp eyes will be able to pick out the gabled facade of the Rainier Club, the flat dome of First Methodist Church and the distant towers of St. James Cathedral.
