|Title||Postcard promoting Renton, Washington, ca. 1925 |
|Date||ca. 1925 |
|Caption||Over the years, Renton, Washington, has proudly promoted itself as a good place for industry. Sometimes the city compared itself to centers of heavy industry in the northeastern United States.|
This is one of a series of postcards, published for the Renton Drug Store, which advertises Renton as the "The Pittsburg of the West." The drug store's building on Third Avenue is featured in the small photograph. Judging by its design, the card may have been made in the 1920s.
