| Caption | Medina Baby Home, a traditional orphanage, was established in 1921. The following year the agency became affiliated with the newly chartered Seattle Community Chest, known today as United Way of King County. The agency, renamed Amara, continues to provide adoption and teen intervention services in Seattle today. |
