| Title | Steamer "Robert G. Seymour" landing at Vashon Island, ca. 1910s |
| Photographer | Unknown |
| Date | ca. 1910s |
| Caption | In the first two decades of the 20th century, small steamers were the primary mode of transportation for people and goods on Puget Sound. These vessels were especially important for people living on islands such as Vashon, pictured here. Visitors and summer residents also made use of the steamers. This photographic postcard, probably made during the 1910s, shows the Seattle steamer "Robert G. Seymour" docked at Vashon Island with a load of passengers. |
