NotesSigns in image: August 24, 1937 - We Baked Our 1, 000, 000th Pie - We're On Our Way to Our Second Million. Buy War Bonds to Build Boeing Bombers - Seattle's Own Flying Fortress. Stacked These Pies Would Be 15 Times Higher Than Mt. Rainier Which is 14, 409 ft. Tall. 1, 436, 409 Pies Would Make a Tower 475 Times as High as the L.C. Smith Tower, Seattle's Tallest Sky Scraper. These Pies Laid Side by Side Would Reach from Seattle Over Snoqualmie Pass and Through the Apple Country, Past [C...] City - Total Distance 251 miles. These Pies Would Put a Piece of Pie in Every Dinner Pail for Every Worker in Boeing Plants in Seattle and Renton for the Next 7 Years. Our 24th Anniversary Mar. 15th 1944 - Your Patronage Has Made the Name Home of the Green Apple Pie Known All Over the Country - We Thank You - The Management.
