| Caption | Chuck Carroll played a variety of positions for the University of Washington (UW) Huskies -- halfback, linebacker, and running back -- and became one of the most respected players throughout the years. He served as captain in the 1928 season, was an All-American running back in 1927-28, and set a record for points in a game (36) in 1928 that still stands. He completed his law education at the UW, served as a King County prosecutor for 22 years, and was cited by many organizations for his community service. He died in 2003 at the age of 96.
