| Caption | This postcard, a modest view of a Model T along Lake Washington, is postmarked Seattle, June 8, 1908. Since the first prototype Model T was built in early 1908, and the first national ad campaign was launched by Ford in October of that year, this picture represents one of only several hundred Ford cars in the world, and certainly one of the first in Seattle. |
