|Caption||General Motors' futuristic Firebird III was an automotive laboratory on wheels. A control stick at the center armrest regulated both speed and steering. The gas turbine vehicle could also be guided by a cable beneath the highway, leaving the driver free to enjoy the scenery.|
The General Motors Exhibit was in the Coliseum building, now Key Arena.
