| Caption | At the fair, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA)and contributing aerospace industries displayed full-scale models of the Saturn V booster rocket and John Glenn's Mercury capsule. Glenn visited Seattle toward the end of the fair, and made appearances with the genuine Mercury capsule -- the Friendship Seven. This exhibit graphic shows the Space Capsule with its single astronaut. |
