|Caption||In June 1952, two concerts of Cole Porter music kicked off Seattle's Music Under the Stars series at the Green Lake Aqua Theatre. Several thousand people attended opening night and watched nine dancers, a large chorus and a 40-piece orchestra perform "Begin the Beguine" and other popular favorites.|
In this photo, taken in the KING-TV studios, Colleen Corkery (l.) and Diane Dembo (r.) show viewers one of the dance numbers from the Cole Porter concerts at the Green Lake Aquatheater. The Seattle Post-Intelligencer and the Seattle Park Department co-sponsored the summer series.
