| Caption | In 1939, when this photo was taken, T.T. Minor School was nearing its 50th anniversary and many people were calling for a new building. A special levy, which remarkably passed during the height of the Great Depression, provided funds for replacing this and other schools. This photograph demonstrated the overcrowded conditions and the fact that the building lacked an auditorium. |
