| Title | Children watching fisherman Hegerberg repair net at Fisherman's Terminal, Seattle, 1949 |
| Photographer | Staff Photographer Seattle Post-Intelligencer |
| Date | 1949 |
| Caption | Puget Sound fishermen use large nets, called seines, to catch salmon. Setting and pulling in the nets by hand was hard work. Today, much of this work is done by machine. In this 1949 photo, Anton Mikkelson Hegerberg is repairing his net while a group of children look on. |
