CaptionHerman and Katherine Bagley built this house at Fourth and Spring in the 1880s. Originally from Michigan, Herman earned a homeopathic medicine degree before the couple moved to Seattle in 1875. He practiced medicine and dealt in real estate, in addition to serving on the Seattle City Council.
