CaptionThe Seattle Rainiers played poorly in 1937, their first season, but they really took off in 1938. By the middle of the summer, the team was in fourth place in the Pacific Coast League and made it to the pennant finals. Excited fans watched their home team win 100 games during the 1938 season.
