| Caption | Edith May Stevens was the wife of Nelson Nathan Stevens, co-founder of the Webster & Stevens Studio. The partners came to Seattle from Portland, Michigan around 1900 and soon established their own business here. Edith and NElson Stevens had two daughters and two sons, one of whom took over for his father in the photography firm. Mr. Stevens' father and brother were also employed in the business. |
