CaptionDonald Wadsworth Weber was born in 1905 in Tacoma to Silas and Mamie Morrison Weber, who had moved to Tacoma from Chicago, Illinois. After Donald graduated from Stadium High School in Tacoma, he moved to Seattle to attend the University of Washington. While in his third year of engineering studies, he met and married Ruth Virginia Williams, daughter of Eva and John Williams of Seattle. They had two daughters and six grandchildren. Don retired from the U.S. Postal Service in Seattle after 40 years; his final position there was Regional Director with the Post Office Motor Vehicles division. After a lengthy illness, Ruth Weber died in 1965. The following year Donald married Carrie Prim, widow of the late attorney John Prim. Donald died in Seattle in 1988.
