CaptionFrank Waldron (far right) was an influential jazz musician in Seattle, playing trumpet and later alto saxophone in many ensembles and taking on students. He played with the Odean Jazz Orchestra throughout the 1920s at the Nanking Cafe downtown, located at 1616 1/2 4th Ave.
