Historical NotesThe Greater San Francisco Ad Club began in 1906 as the Advertising Club of Oakland. The club is the oldest continuously operating advertising club in the West, if not the United States, and acts as a unifying voice for the area's advertising professionals, encouraging, promoting, and developing truth and honesty in advertising.
