"The Pavilion of Electric Power on Boulevard 21 is easily recognized by the 40-foot-high dam replica which forms its backdrop. Entry to the exhibit area is through a large tunnel in the face of the dam. Three-thousand gallons of water each minute flow over the six spillways on the dam. Floating in a pond at the base of the dam is a 22-foot relief map of Washington." (Century 21 Exposition. (1962). Official Guide Book, Seattle World's Fair 1962. Seattle: Acme Publications. p. 50)
