NotesThis flier lists the Pierce County businesses identified by local unions as non-compliant with "union conditions of employment" as of July 1, 1964. It is issued by the Pierce County Central Labor Council to encourage all union members not to patronize these establishments. The businesses on the "We Don't Patronize" list are varied, from building contractors and painters to taverns and barbershops. The Pierce County C.L.C. issued such lists often during the mid-20th Century.
