NotesMr. Anthis was in the Coast Guard during World War II, stationed at Lake Ozette and patrolling the Pacific Ocean beaches in the vicinity of Lake Ozette.

Note accompanying image: G. [sic] Bell at the dock. Wisconsin, shipped out of Ozette in first bunch, spent last 2 yrs. In S. Pacific on land barg on most all the islands.
