NotesSlide was taken from the Portland Airport. It shows Mount St. Helens blowing up for the second time. It was unpredicted! We were supposed to be in the crater that morning, but the helicopter pilot wouldn't fly us out there because we ran out of cash and he would not take a credit card or check. Because of that, we are alive now. Everything was destroyed and totally eradicated by the explosion. The cloud went into the stratosphere. It was a major explosion.
