Digital Reproduction InformationThe 35mm slide at MOHAI was scanned on a Microtek ScanMaker 8700 scanner set at 2400 ppi and 24-bit RGB then saved as a TIFF. For internet use, Adobe Photoshop 8.0 re-sized the TIFF to either 600 pixels high or 700 pixels wide (whichever came first), the histogram was adjusted, the Unsharp Mask filter was used to sharpen, and the resulting image was saved using JPEG compression at quality level 3.
