CaptionLooking east across Rainier Avenue along Ferdinand Street. To the left up Ferdinand the top of the Congregational Church shows above the tops of nearer homes. On the corner to the right is the Hotel Dakota. To the right on Rainier is the McKenzie Plumbing Shop. In 1904 the hotel building was doubled in size by attaching a matching structure to the south side.
