CaptionIn this photo by John M. "Hack" Miller, 22-year-old June Fitzpatrick of Dublin, Ireland, practices her serve at the Seattle Tennis Club. Miss Fitzpatrick, who taught in San Francisco, competed in the City Tennis Tournament. She was second seeded in the women's division of the tournament and was in the semi-finals.
