| Caption | Elvis Presley visited Seattle to make his 11th motion picture, "Take Me To The Fair, " at the Century 21 fairgrounds. Colonel Tom Parker (second from right, in hat) accompanied him along with a staff of nine young men in black jump suits. Here, at the downtown Monorail station, Elvis poses with Governor Albert Rosellini (left). The ham was supposedly from Presley's Tennesee farm. Other individuals in the photo are Ted Richmond (second from left), the producer of the movie; and Norman Taurog (right), the director. |
