Two men carrying brown paper sacks full of epsom salts and calcium choloride on their shoulders walking down a trail. They lay the sacks down on a pallet in the water and pour coffee cans of white powder into large buckets sitting on the pallet. The pallet is steered into the water way by two small motorboats. Man in boat pulls box from the water, puts it in a bucket. Checks water. In laboratory--beakers filled with clear liquid, microscope, view through microscope of bugs, organisms moving. Out in the field, man sitting at a small table by the water. Crayfish in a bucket in water, hand reaches in and grabs one, takes it out and inspects it. Man pulls a large net from the water, fish in net. Man in boat pulls smaller net from water. Takeouts--men in lab coats in a laboratory setting. Additional footage of activities at lake. Woman in laboratory--testing, samples, taking notes, using equipment. Collecting and testing water samples at the lake.
