NotesPattern No. 3850: Belted coat with rolled collar, and vest that is stitched into tucks and fastened with buttons. Sleeves are "slashed and shaped at the wrist, and seamed in to form a cuff which is faced and rolled back" and trimmed with buttons. Upper front sections are slashed horizontally then restitched together. Lower edges of the front and back sections are buttoned to the skirt. Accessorized with a toque hat trimmed with feathers.

Pattern No. 3851: Skirt is laid in triple box plaits in the front and back.
