NotesPattern No. 4590-91: Collared vest is tacked to the coat and both open to the left. Sleeves are "shaped slightly at the wrist" and trimmed with buttons, and the right side of the coat is slashed for a pocket. Two-piece hobble skirt opens to the left and is trimmed at the lower edge with buttons. Accessorized with a toque hat trimmed with a large black bow.

Pattern No. 4587-88: Collared coat with front and back sections and sleeves that are turned up at the lower edge to form cuffs. Cuffs are held in place with buttons. Belted hobble skirt opens to the left. Set-in side sections are "laid in with pin tucks" and held in place with a button at the lower edge. Accessorized with a black fur stole and a turban-like hat set askew and trimmed with a black feather.
