Discusses the numbers 1 through 10. Text reads: We've finsihed our lessons, and had a good day: Let's give old Aunt Elspa just one - HIP HURRAY! (Now then) Hip-Hip-Hip-Hurray. Finis.
Contextual NotesThe Aunt Elspa's books were named after a pet name for Joseph Crawhall's eldest daughter, Elspeth, who married Frederick Challoner in 1883.

Joseph Crawhall worked hard to promote the Arts and perpetuated the tradition of chapbook production along with Andrew Tuer in Newcastle, England. Crawhill's work is strikingly different from his contemporary Thomas Bewick and displays his irreverent sense of humour.
