STYLEConstraint-free in the style of the 1960s with a contemporary feel; Air-conditioning ducts, water pipes and escalators were brought to the outside of the building freeing the inside walls for art displays.
NOTESThe architecture is intended to symbolize the spirit of the 20th Century; Building was designed in response to French President Georges Pompidou's call for creating a new cultural institution in Paris dedicated to modern art.
