Contextual NotesThe IROQUOIS was was a steel express steamer purchased by the Puget Sound Navigation Co. and brought to the Northwest from the Great Lakes. She was fitted with United Wireless Telegraph equipment in 1908, making her one of the first two vessels on Puget Sound to be so equipped.
