| Building Notes | Andrew Willatsen worked as a draftsman at Frank Lloyd Wright's Studio in Illinois from about 1902 to 1907. In 1909 he formed the partnership of Willatsen & Byrne which lasted until 1913. Greatly influenced by Frank Lloyd Wright, and together with Byrne, Willatsen designed many residential projects in the Prairie and Craftsman styles. Their design for the Kerry residence shows this influence, although it was possibly never realized. The house was significantly remodeled after the third-story was destroyed by fire in 1938. |
