Notes accompanying Liane White's photograph collection:
This collection contains Merchant, Maybury and Whitcomb family materials.
Family lineage: Liane White's maternal great-great grandmother was Martha (Irwin) Merchant Maybury, probably born in 1855. She had 6 daughters: Rose Merchant (Sands), Maud Merchant (Wentworth), Ellen (Bay) Merchant (Palmer), Delphina (Deede) Merchant (Palmer), Elizabeth (Lizzie) Merchant and Olive Merchant (Lempie). The latter daughter, Olive -- Liane's great-grandmother -- had a daughter Wynona Whitcomb. Wynona Whitcomb was Liane's grandmother.
