Insects Affecting Hard Pine : 1. Pitch mass of pitch twig moth Retinia constockiana Fern., with pupal shwll protruding therefrom in one case; the other shows old and recent pitch; 2. Pitch mass of pitch inhabiting midge, Diplosis resinicola Osten Sacken; 3. Shoot infested with Nantucket p9ine moth larva, Retinsia frustrana Scudd., showing the abortive growth; 4.
