NotesJapanese baseball teams began organizing in Seattle in 1904. The Mikado, an early Issei (first-generation immigrants ) team, was formed in 1906. By 1919, the Mikado Club sponsored three baseball teams.

List of names accompanies photograph: Top row, L to R: Kakuichi Yamada [1900-1975], Yoshiaki Marumo, George Engle, Tamotsu Otani, John F. Ikeda and Motoi Miyasaka [1890-1987]. Bottom row, L to R: Michio Saito, Jimmy Koyama, Frank Tikichi Fukuda, S. Omiya and [?] Kiso.
