NotesJapanese baseball teams began organizing in Seattle in 1904. The Mikado, an early Issei (first-generation immigrants) team, was formed in 1906. By 1919, the Mikado Club sponsored three baseball teams.

Motomi Miyasaka was born in Japan 1890. He immigrated to the United States in 1907. In 1910, he was living in a boarding house at 6044 First Ave. NW in Seattle. No occupation was listed for him. He died in Seattle in 1987.
