NotesThe Dog House was located on Seventh Avenue at Bell Street in Downtown Seattle.

One of the most famous features of the Dog House was a large mural that hung above the pass through behind the counter. The title was "All Roads Lead to the Doghouse." The painting was an illustrated fantasy map showing all the roads a man might take that would put him in "the Dog House." Different roads are marked with pointer signs reading: blondes, brunettes, redheads, private secretaries, whistling, nagging, etc. Many dogs are trotting down these different roads toward a dog house, while an angry wife with a rolling pin in her hand and her arms crossed observes from her porch. The big dog sits whittling at the door of his Dog House. This imagery is repeated on the restaurant's menus in a series of updates throughout the life of the restaurant (1930s - 1980s).
