| Caption | New for the spring of 1941, Revlon's Pink Lemonade and Red Punch make-up colors were billed as "the greatest color show on earth." In this photo, Mona the elephant's toenails are painted with Revlon's Pink Lemonade by two women representing the company. Miss Mona, the tight rope walking elephant, was a member of the Polack Brothers Circus, which performed at the Palomar Theater (currently known as the Pantages Theater) in June of 1941. |
